The fastest lap record belongs to Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, set in 2023, while the most wins are claimed by Red Bull Racing driver Sergio Perez.

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix, scheduled for September 23–26, 2026, will be the seventeenth round of the championship. The program includes two practice sessions, a third practice session and qualifying, as well as the main race and the podium ceremony. According to the schedule, the first two races will take place in the morning and afternoon of the first practice day, followed by a third practice session, and qualifying starting later in the afternoon.

Formula 1 plans to hold 24 rounds of the championship in 2026. The Grand Prix starts in Australia on March 8 and concludes in Abu Dhabi on December 6. The 77th season will open the doors for drivers and teams to compete for the title of World Drivers' and Constructors' Champions, offering unique challenges across continents.
