Leonid Agutin writes and performs compositions in a number of genres. His previous work relates to reggae, Latin, bossa nova, and folk. Critics classify later works as jazz and pop rock.
His collaboration with jazz musician Al Di Miela allowed the artist to declare himself as a jazz musician of international level. Their joint record spent several weeks at the top of the jazz charts in Europe and America.
