The Gabala Football Club (in the Azerbaijani original - "Qəbələ" Peşəkar Futbol Klubu) is a sports organization from the city of the same name located in Azerbaijan. Founded in 1995, it is a member of the highest league of the National Football Championship of Azerbaijan. Historically, PFC "Gabala" originated in 1995 as a "Gay Gel" in the city of Goygol, which by that time was known as Khanlar. At that time, he represented the Khanlar district of Azerbaijan in the national championship. After some period of inactivity, the club was re-established on May 4, 2005 under the new name "Gilan" and already represented the Gabala district.
