Sumgait Palace of Culture "Chemist" (Kimyaçı Mədəniyyət Sarayı)

Sumgait Palace of Culture "Khimik" is a landmark cultural center opened in 1986, which has become an integral part of the cultural life of the city of Sumgayit. In 2011, President Ilham Aliyev visited the Palace and noted the need for its major reconstruction. In October 2013, large-scale work began to restore and modernize this important cultural heritage site.

The reconstruction project was carried out with special attention to preserving the historical value and authenticity of the Palace. At the same time, modern technologies and engineering solutions were introduced, which significantly increased the comfort and convenience for visitors. Today the Sumgayit Palace of Culture “Khimik” shines with a renewed appearance and is ready to welcome guests in its cozy and modern spaces.
