Before going solo, Justin Timberlake was a member of the very successful boy band 'N Sync. The group was founded in 1995 when Justin was only fourteen years old, and the name of the band was invented by the boy's mother. The other members were JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Bass. They created magical songs such as "Tearin' Up My Heart", "Bye Bye Bye", "This I Promise You" and others.

The singer is also known for his compositions in the hip-hop genre, including through his collaboration with producer Timbaland. Justin Timberlake and the famous pro Timbaland worked together, for example, on the song "SexyBack". It was performed during Timberlake's concert tour "FutureSex/LoveShow" in 2007. In 2023, Timbaland co-wrote a new single with Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado - "Keep Going Up!" In addition, Timberlake writes songs and composes compositions not only for himself, but also for other famous performers.
