UFC Fight Night 260 to be held in Baku

The main pairing of the UFC Fight Night 260 tournament will be representatives of the middleweight category Jamal Hill and Khalil Rountree. Khalil "War Horse" Rountree got his nickname for his pressure in the octagon and the power of his punches. Rountree has a rather interesting biography - he was born in Los Angeles to a music producer, but at some point his father was a security guard for the legend of world boxing, Muhammad Ali. At school, Khalil was bullied for his excess weight, he weighed more than 140 kg and regularly ate fast food, and at 19 he went into sports, changed his diet, gave himself increasingly serious loads, and eventually everyone forgot about that plump, awkward, insecure teenager. Rountree trained in Wanderlei Silva's gym, which helped him get into the TUF selection, and from there the athlete made it to the prestigious UFC, where he got through the show "The Ultimate Fighter", where Rountree defeated everyone. After joining the UFC, Khalil alternated victories with defeats, for example, he lost to Tyson Pedro, Ion Cutelaba, Marcin Prachne, but, in the end, he won five times in a row, and all of them were before the final whistle and by unanimous decision.

In addition to the main fights, the program will include several preliminary fights, where young and ambitious fighters will be able to demonstrate their skills and make a name for themselves.

He has good wrestling and grappling skills, which allows him to control opponents on the ground and wear them down. The Korean has been fighting in the UFC continuously since 2019, and has eight wins in eleven fights in the league. If Naurdiev can keep the fight standing and use his striking power, he will have a better chance of winning. If Pak can take the fight to the ground and use his grappling skills, he can win by submission or choke.
